SLEDDING TIME

In the winter time, you can also bundle up and go sledding! There are many places to go sledding and it is so much fun! Sleds can be purchased from all hyper-markets, sports stores like Decathalon, Go-Sport, and Intersport.

On the Warsaw Half Pipe (across from Idzikwskiego) the drop is a thrill when the ice goes over a bit.

Toboggan Trail (down the road from stable and restaurant Stanja in Ursynow) the road bends to the left, and is a long narrow trail with a fast ride. Many people have said it is best when there is a lot of snow on the ground (you'll have no trouble with that here in Poland.)

Into the Woods (near the Ursynow compound) the big hill on Rosola, it is big and a lot of families go with their kids to go sledding, it is a lot of fun, and the hill is just steep enough to have a great time and laugh with all your friends. Theres plenty of space for all of the families that come and go sledding.

And, in Pole Mokotowskie (you can get there by metro) next to Pub Lolek, this is a great hill for smaller kids, beginner snowboarders and dog owners. It's an easy hill, long run and no threat of cars or trees.
